South of Pearl makes it's home in the historical "Boatwright House". Built in 1900, this beautiful home was acquired by J Todd Hardee, Funeral director and County Coroner, in 2015. After a complete remodeling to original standards, Hardee opened a neighborhood restaurant and community venue. He, along with a great staff, provide lunch service Monday through Friday.

"We say The Blessing at 11:30 and we close at 2" Our lunch buffet is produced from as much local fare as possible. We use heirloom receipts and we make our food from scratch. We are available for nightly events and for dinners parties of 30 or more people.

Every Day

Each day of the week we offer fried chicken, fresh vegetables, a homemade casserole ( Green Bean, Broccoli, or fresh squash) crisp salad bar, and our homemade banana pudding. These items never change. We have them everyday of the week! 

Daily Changes

Certain items do change on our menu daily. These menu changes include Chicken Casserole on Monday, Meat Loaf on Tuesday, BBQ & Ribs on Wednesday, Brisket & Pinto Beans on Thursday, and Fried Flounder of Friday

We tasted a little bit of everything; BBQ, ribs, ribeye, twice baked potatoes (OMG), pimento cheese, collard greens egg rolls (I don't like collard greens but they were yummy). To top it off, homemade pound cake with fresh strawberries & ice cream. Did I mention the best Pinot Grigio I've ever had? And I'm picky about my wine.
